About

I collect. I draw. I take photographs. I make things from paper, clay, metal, plastic, and whatever I find lying around. I sew too, sometimes.
I show other people how to do these things.

Currently undertaking a MFA in 3D Materials Practice, specialising in Ceramics with Visual Research minor, I have a Ba (Hons) degree in Textiles: Surface Design, and am a qualified college lecturer with four years teaching experience.

I am inspired by objects. I collect them, I photograph them, I draw them, and I make them.

Interested in the value of objects, my current work explores the human, empathic relationship we often have with objects, the poetics of everyday objects, the value of non-utilitarian objects, and the hierarchy of objects – looking at elevating the status of abandoned, lost, overlooked and banal objects.

I live happily by the sea in Brighton, England and love to travel whenever possible. I have lived in Kauai, Melbourne, Stockholm, and Berlin, and have been greatly inspired by these experiences.
